When you're on vacation, the last call you want to get is one telling you that your apartment has been destroyed by a fire, but that's what happened to the wife and daughter of one resident of the Brentwood Apartments located at 3298 SW 125th Avenue.
This afternoon's fire affected six apartments, three of which are a total loss, and three of which have sustained water damage. The American Red Cross Oregon Trail Chapter is currently on the scene arranging accommodations for 26 residents, including 20 adults and six children. Volunteers are also providing food and clothing to those affected.
At this time there are residents willing to do media interviews.
