About Safe and Well
Oregonians who have loved ones in the affected area can access the Red Cross Safe and Well Web site. This site assists those who cannot reach loved ones due to widespread power and telecommunication outages. Visit www.redcross.org and click on Safe and Well. This secure website provides a way for Floridians to identify themselves as “safe and well.”

As with any other Red Cross service or product, Safe and Well safeguards the privacy of disaster victims and protects their information according to privacy law standards. Messages – but not locations – will be viewable by friends and family.  During the initial hours of this disaster it is important to stay connected with loved ones. Take action now by visiting www.redcross.org.

The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disaster and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Local Red Cross volunteers respond to residential fires and other disasters every 40 hours on average. All Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from Oregonians. Financial gifts help provide shelter, food, clothing, counseling and other immediate assistance to those in need. Call (503) 284-1234 or visit www.redcross-pdx.org
