Looming landslide displaces family, Red Cross volunteers provide assistance

The American Red Cross Oregon Trail Chapter is sponsoring Babysitters Training at several locations on Martin Luther King Day, Monday January 16 th .  

This one day training is a great opportunity for children ages 11-15 to learn everything it takes to be a safe and responsible babysitter.  The course covers live-saving emergency care, including first aid, rescue breathing and other appropriate care. It also teaches child development, infant care (including diapering) and accident prevention. The six-hour, 45-minute course costs $35. Scholarships are available for those who qualify. All times are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
