Dan and Rodney will be reporting in at Palmorey School with the staging area in Kennewick . They'll be participating in a program of direct distribution, issuing clean up kits to numerous families involved in the fires. Other Red Cross chapters from around the Northwest are also involved, in various capacities. To date, 100 homes have been destroyed by wildfire in the area.

The American Red Cross Oregon Trail Chapter assists victims of fire and other local disasters and emergencies and provides immediate cash assistance for housing, food, clothing and other necessities at no charge. These services are provided thanks to the generosity of Oregonian s who volunteer and make financial contributions to their local Red Cross.
