Little Saigon TV and Radio Coordinates Successful Fundraising Campaign for Tsunami Relief
  

A check presentation will take place on Friday, February 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Grand Buffet, located at 4410 SE 82nd and Holgate. Business leaders, as well as representatives from the Red Cross and Little Saigon TV will be in attendance.

Since January 1, Little Saigon TV and Radio has been encouraging the Vietnamese community to give to tsunami relief efforts. Through media promotion and volunteers making phone calls and visits to the community, the organization has been extremely successful in collecting funds throughout the Portland area.

“We were very impressed with how swiftly Little Saigon coordinated fundraising efforts,” said Bert Kile, executive director of the American Red Cross Oregon Trail Chapter. “They are well known in the Vietnamese community and did a wonderful job helping us process donations.”
