Last month we told you about the Oregon Trail Chapter's new Northeastern Oregon District, serving Oregon's Baker, Union, Wallowa, Umatilla and Morrow counties. This month, we've got another set of new additions -- Gilliam, Sherman, Wasco and Hood River counties -- now known as our Columbia River District.

Much like we said before, the Columbia River District will still have an office in Hood River, and current services - as well as the volunteers that make them possible - will remain. All revenue generated by the Columbia River District will stay in the Columbia River District.

This news brings with it an incredible opportunity to engage community leaders, donors and volunteers throughout the area in the Oregon Trail Chapter's important work of saving and rebuilding lives. If you'd like to get involved with the new Columbia River District, contact Chief Program Officer Bert Kile.
