| 7/19/2007 - Oregon Trail Chapter Volunteers Continue Disaster Relief Efforts in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas |
| American Red Cross Oregon Trail Chapter volunteers continue their disaster relief operations in flood devastated areas of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. A total of 9 volunteers have been dispatched to Wichita, Kansas where they continue to provide assistance to residents of SE Kansas including the town of Osawatomie. The Red Cross has partnered with the Salvation Army and the Osawatomie School District to run a shelter at Trojan Elementary for more than 150 people who have lost their homes. |
